Cookie Policy

As with practically any website, at 1ClickTutorial we use our own and third-party cookies. By configuring or accepting the cookie notice that popped up when you entered, you're giving me permission to install them (unless you've tweaked your browser to reject them, which is entirely your right). If you change your mind at any time, you can delete them right from your browser.

The exact same person behind this website:

It's not a virus, a trojan, or anything sketchy. A cookie is just a tiny text file that gets saved in your browser (whether that's Chrome, Safari, Firefox...) when you visit a website.

It's important to know that cookies don't store sensitive information about you. They don't know your credit card number, and they can't access your photos or your ID. They only store technical data, stats, or browsing preferences. In fact, the cookie doesn't recognize you as a person, but rather your browser. If you visit from your phone and then from your computer, the website sees two different users.

Generally speaking, we have three types:

  • Functional (Technical): These are the bare essentials so the website doesn't break. They're used to remember if you're logged in, if you've added something to your cart, or if you've already accepted the cookie notice.
  • Analytical: These let us anonymously track what people do on the website — which pages they read the most, how long they stay, what country they're visiting from...
  • Advertising: These are used for marketing. For example, if you check out a course and leave, they make it possible for an ad for that course to pop up later on other pages or social networks.

According to European regulations, technical or functional cookies don't require your explicit consent because they are absolutely necessary to provide the service. However, to install analytical and advertising cookies, I do need your permission.

We have nothing to hide here. This website uses the following cookies:

  • Own cookies: Basically, login cookies. If you access any of my courses, this cookie remembers that you are logged in so you don't have to enter your password on every single page you visit.
  • Third-party cookies (Analytical): We use Google Analytics to check out our website stats (to know how many people visit us and what they read). These cookies (_ga, _gid) can last anywhere from 1 day to 2 years and only track page views anonymously.
  • Third-party cookies (Functional): We use a technical cookie (like moove_gdpr_popup) that lasts 1 year and is used solely and exclusively to remember whether you've accepted or rejected this privacy notice, so we don't have to keep bothering you with the banner every time you drop by.

You're the boss of your computer and your phone. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies at any time from their settings panel.

If you decide to block all of them, some parts of the website (like your student account) might not work properly, because I won't be able to remember that you've logged in.

If you want to wipe them out, here is where to find the instructions depending on your browser:

You can also use extensions and programs like "Do Not Track" in your browser to block tracking automatically. If you want to dive even deeper into how they work, you can check out the Guide on the use of cookies from the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
